- LTP implemented an Andros Farmer Encouragement Project where LTP provided seedlings and packaging to farmers in Andros and then bought back the green peppers produced to resell to existing LTP customers
- LTP partnered with Dr. Selima Campbell-Hauber, founder of Bahamian Botanicals, to build the first commercial Tissue Culture
laboratory in The Bahamas. Bahamian Botanicals is located on site at LTP and is producing native plants and flowers, tropical foliage and banana plants.
In 2009 LTP expanded their product line to add plants and flowers to their product line
