I even bought a costly piece of medical software that allowed me to play in the arena of {qluetip([Binaural Beats] Check out the section about to learn more about Binaural Beat Technology{/qluetip}. I just purchased the first, under $100 dollar home EEG headset designed and manufactured by
NueroSky and sold by PLXdevices. If you are interested in getting your own(and I do recommend that you do!) I would go directly with Nuerosky....
So far I am extremely impressed with the device and it's accuracy. It is also a great tool to record certain ranges of activity over time and judge progress, such as your ability to lax or focus. It hook seamlessly into an iphone or iPad and come with a great piece of free software called Xwave that does basic measurements as well as two training sessions for relaxation and focus.
At this point it may just seem like a fun piece of gear for ultra-nerds but check put NUEROSKY on YouTube and you will see where this kind of direct brain-to-game interface stuff is headed in the no too distant future:
Things are surely going to get very strange in the next few hears as humans and technology do a very intimate dance....
